Risk Management Service (RMS) is a basic service of the BNT Ecosystem. It refers to the actions of the Ecosystem for localizing and neutralizing the negative risk factors in the actual conditions of the startup project. The BNT Ecosystem Management System creates a sustainable business model of its projects. In this regard, it determines the acceptable level of risk for each startup. The risk factors that have a critical impact on the state of the project are selected jointly with the owner (customer) of the risk management service. A set of administrative and organizational measures and smart contracts are used to exercise control. As a solution, the customer receives certain estimates, possible scenarios for the impact of critical risk factors and an account of risk management measures.
The Risk Management Service aims to maintain the sustainability of the startup business model.
The startup management allows for dynamic control over the risk factors that most significantly affect the startup characteristics (defining features). A set of measures and smart contracts according to the scenarios of the BNT Ecosystem are used to carry out control. They include determining the conditions for commercialization before financing the project. Special risk management conditions are specified for each startup project. The special conditions are set out in writing, as well as in smart contracts.
According to the sustainable development model of the startup, there is a precondition: the BNT Ecosystem is responsible for risk management (part of functions) in the startup administration. If the startup management fails to comply with the established rules and recommendations regarding critical risk factors, measures are taken to localize and eliminate them.
Intellectual property risks are common to all startup projects of the Ecosystem. The BNT Ecosystem makes special organizational and economic arrangements to manage IP risks.
For each startup, the BNT Ecosystem determines an optimal set of risk factors that have a critical impact on the implementation of the startup project at the stage of creating a sustainable business model. This includes the development of possible scenarios for the risk management impact on the startup implementation.
Smart contracts are developed to control and manage critical risk factors. Smart contracts monitor the progress of the innovative startup project and its results in accordance with the Ecosystem regulations at all stages.
