Startup Projects
Principles and Features of Implementation
All startups in the BNT Ecosystem require continuous scientific research. In addition, monitoring of the market for nanotechnology products is necessary to maintain a wide range of products of synthetic and natural nanomaterials. Standard technologies will be developed using an advanced computer support system – CALS-technologies (Continuous Acquisition and Life Cycle Support).
The CALS concept is based on a set of unified information models, standardization of methods of access to sensitive (know-how) information and its correct interpretation. Invariants that are implemented (in whole or in part) during the life cycle of a product range are the essence of the CALS concept, which fundamentally distinguishes it from other concepts.
Our infrastructure startup for manufacturing carbon nanomatrices (CNMs) can serve as an example. Among the considered stages of the CNM life cycle in the CALS concept (marketing, design, production, implementation and operation), primary focus will be on design. When designing a pilot plant based on the information CALS standard ISO 10303 STEP, a typical diagram (application protocol) for the standard operating procedure will be created.
For the standard operating procedure, the CALS project typical diagram has the following main categories: general characteristics of production; characteristics of manufactured products; characteristics of feedstock, raw material, semi-finished products and energy resources; description of the technological process and process flow diagram; process mass balance; consumption rates of the main types of feedstock, raw material and energy resources; waste generation standards; production control and industrial process management; possible malfunctions and ways to eliminate them; environmental protection.
