OpenSea launches its long-awaited NFT marketplace aggregator intended for high-volume trading – OpenSea Pro, which is in fact a rebranded and enhanced version of Gem V2. The new trader-oriented platform is a response to OpenSea’s major competitor Blur, which has been eating into its market share. According to the company’s official statement, OpenSea Pro offers optimized gas fees, aggregates listings from over 170 NFT marketplaces, provides real-time data, inventory management tools, a minting option, as well as other features. A number of incentives offered by OpenSea to draw in users and encourage loyalty include zero percent marketplace fees during a limited promotional period and community rewards. In particular, the company intends to encourage user engagement by rewarding its users with NFTs.
